Layoff iQ aggregates publicly available data to provide our services:

  • Bureau of Labor Statistics: Employment and labor market data
  • Public Company Information: Publicly available business data

We do not access private company data or internal employment records.

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

6. SMS Text Messages

If you opt in to SMS alerts, the following applies to your phone number and text message data:

  • Your phone number is stored securely and used solely to deliver SMS alerts from Layoff iQ
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes
  • We record your consent (including timestamp and the disclosure text you agreed to) for compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and carrier requirements
  • SMS message logs (delivery status, timestamps) are retained for service quality and compliance purposes
  • You can revoke consent at any time by replying STOP, removing your phone number in account settings, or contacting support
  • When you revoke consent, we record the revocation and cease all SMS communications immediately
